Bobby Sink had to go to the ER at RMH yesterday wtih chest, arm, jaw/neck discomfort. They did a cardiac cath this morning and found a 70% blockage and put in a stent. He should go home tomorrow.

Julia Parker has stage 4 cancer now. It is in her pancreas and liver and inoperable. She's been losing blood in her stomach due to the radiation she had several weeks ago. They're going to treat this with medication. They want to try chemo again.

Loretta Bryant fell the other day and was in RMH. They ran a bunch of tests and thankfully they all came back good. So she went to stay with her daughter Sharon this afternoon to recover.

Kathy Firebaugh will see a gastro surgeon on Dec. 16  to discuss her options regarding the mass at the end of her esophagus.

Krystle Weaver recently found out she's pregnant and had to go to the ER last week due being sick most of the week. She's home now and recovering from dehydration but still dealing with nausea. 

Walter Trump is in RMH ICU recovering from gall bladder surgery Tuesday. He's not doing well.

Debbie Thompson is recovering from recent serious eye surgery for detached retina/macula. She had a follow up with her surgeon today and she is doing good and progressing. It's been 1 month. Her vision is still blurry and seeing double. Been told it will take a few months to know what vision she will have.

Kenny Sink (not Bobby's nephew) is at UVA hospital with a blood clot in his lungs. He's on a ventilator.

Ken Tilley will finally be having his Petscan on December 10. Praying the prostate cancer is gone!

David Smoot will have surgery Wed., Dec. 17 to put the brain stimulation device in his brain for his neck problem. He'll then go back on Dec. 26 for the 2nd part of the surgery.

Nolan Creasy received great news yesterday at his doctor's appointment regarding his progress. They took the NG tube, allowed him to go back to school today and said he's gained almost 20 lbs, which he needed to gain! Praise the Lord!  He'll have a Remicade treatment Dec. 15, then another 2 weeks later. Then he'll have 1 per month going forward.

Ronnie Blanchard is waiting to get his hip surgery set up.

Dustin Dodge finally is set up for a consultation Jan. 8th with a cardiothoracic surgeon at UVA. He has a local appointment Nov. 24th.
