Angie Firebaugh's 3rd chemo treatment is TODAY. (16 rounds total, 2 down now - one a week for 12 weeks, then 1 every other week to finish the 16 rounds.)
Judy Price was admitted to RMH Sunday with a UTI and some pneumonia. They're giving her some high powered antibiotics and she's hoping to go home in 1-2 days.
Julia Parker had her 1st chemo treatment Monday, Dec. 16. She goes Thursday for lab work. If all good she'll have her 2nd treatment Monday, Dec. 30.
Roy Compton passed away Friday. His visitation and service is this Friday, Dec. 27 at Blue Ridge Funeral Home at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens from 10-noon. His memorial service will follow at noon.
Jo Ann Aldrich moved to Terra Bella Monday to continue therapy. She's not sure how long she'll be there.
Joyce Corvin is in the hospital in UNC Hillsborough in N.C. She has some kind of dementia. Her cancer medicines have actually been working against her and she's very confused and doesn't know any of her family. They're working to put her in a nursing home rehab but nothing so far. She's taken a turn for the worst.
Kristi Blake's surgery was postponed to Jan. 3.
Joe Sutliff is home now and doing better. Keep praying for her to regain her strength and mobility.
Sherry and Paul Kidd both had CT scans last week (Paul, kidney; Sherry, parathyroid). Still waiting to hear the results.

Sandra Austin recovery from E-coli. She's in Friendship Manor's Rehab now. She had dialysis today and it went well. Next week she'll have dialysis on Monday, Thursday and Saturday. And she'll restart her chemo next Friday. So it will be a difficult week.
Chuck Evans is home now recovering from several bacterial infections.
Nolan Creasy is having wisdom teeth cut out and doing a biopsy of a cyst/tumor on his gums January 31.

Gene Thompson had his 6 month infusion Thursday and was told there's nothing more they can do for him and are putting him on palliative care. They are going to continue his treatments as long as he's able.
The Kibler Family. David's aunt Dottie passed away last week and graveside service is Friday at 2 pm at Blue Ridge Memorial.
Eric Stafford (Brenda's 2nd cousin) is in UVA ICU and very critical condition. Had heart surgery and now has infection in his heart, lungs and stomach. He has made some slight improvement.

Randy Sink is in boot camp for AirForce Reserves in San Antonio, Texas. He won't be able to come back home til May!
Donnie Noel healing from his fibrosis lung disease. He's on medication now. He's been told the medication will affect his liver and could experience possible gastro side effects. Also pray his VA claim for benefits is approved.
Lenore Burger's heavy inflammation in her lungs has not cleared up. Going back to her doctor.
Brenda Sink's cancer is back. She's found out she's not a candidate for surgery because it's spread too much. She's refused chemo so waiting to find out if she's a candidate for immunotherapy. Should know in a week.
Carley Hawks was on her way to school recently in Martinsville and had a serious accident. She's still in RMH but thankfully her arms and foot movement and responding...making improvement. Being moved out of ICU to a step down room.
Sabrina Wood hurt back and in a lot of pain. She's set up for back surgery in January.
